Behaviour management for children and young people

Behaviour presentations are an expression of need; and perceived negative behaviours are an expression of unmet needs. This is true of all ages and neurotypes.

We work together to establish what those needs are and how they can be met. By facilitating strategies in a manageable way, we improve the quality of life for all involved.

Psychoeducation

Whether you are parent or carer, newly diagnosed, or a community group, we can support you to understand different neuro-classifications.

We provide psychoeducation for individuals and group workshops. We cover both medicalised and community based perspectives, so you might understand some of the nuances you may meet.

Autism, ASD, ADHD, ADD, Asperger's (no longer diagnosed), dyslexia, dyscalculia, neurodivergent, neurodiverse, neurominority, cooccurring conditions, comorbid conditions. What do all these terms mean? We will lead you to understanding.

Environmental Screening

For a number of neurominorities, environment plays a huge role in wellbeing. With sensory perceptions operating in an alternative way to the majority of other people, experience and awareness of surroundings is also different.

We work alongside individuals to assess and evaluate their environment. We construct plans for alterations to improve the surroundings for the individual's wellbeing.
